On the occasion of the 133rd birth anniversary of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar, the National Day Celebration Committee organized a program under the guidance of the in-charge principal, Mrs. Sanavi Deshmukh ma’am, of Bhagubai Changu Thakur College of Law, New Panvel, on April 15, 2024, in the Seminar Hall.
The program began with the inauguration of Samvidhan Dalan in room no. 106 by respected Mrs. Sanavi A. Deshmukh, ma’am. Student representative Mr. Sachin Sonawane brought books, literature, photos, etc. on Dr. Ambedkar for exhibition, and in addition, there was also an exhibition of Bhartiya Sant Sahitya, which has been referred to in our Indian Constitution.
The 3rd year LL.B. students managed the program under the supervision of Asst. Prof. Sagar S. Devghare (I/C National Day Celebration Committee). The program was hosted by Ms. Mrunal Patekar and Ms. Disha Dhone.
Those students who gave speeches in the program are Mrs. Panchashila Audhute, Mr. Kriteshwar Singh, Mr. Anil Gamare, Mr. Sagar Hulge, Mrs. Priya Pandagale, Ms. Tejashree Waghpanje, Mr. Sunil Kathale, Mr. Ram Mhaske, and Mr. Vijay More. Further in the program, Mr. Sachin Sonawane, Mr. Raghunath Rupwante, and Ms. Kamini Patil sang songs on the life journey of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar.
The student volunteers were Ms. Prerana Gaikwad, Ms. Apoorva Jadhav, Ms. Arya Kanade, and Mr. Parth Nazare, Mr. Vijay Khillare.
The Vote of Thanks was presented by Mr. Sandeep Singh, and the program concluded with the national song Vande Mataram.
