I pursued my B.L.S., LL.B. degree from B. C. Thakur College of Law, New Panvel affiliated to Mumbai University. It was my five years of Journey in this College – In fact journey with BCT Family. This journey was just like a roller coaster ride but with the help of efficient & co-operative teachers and our dearest friendly Principal madam Dr. Mrs. Shitala Gavand, I pursued my law curriculum comfortably. I strongly believe in the phrase that ‘Nothing is expensive than a missed opportunity’ and I am so grateful that I got many golden opportunities when I was a law student in this college. Today I am practicing in Hon’ble Bombay High Court and I can proudly say that I can appear before Court with confidence and this would have not been possible for me without participation in Moot Court Competitions, which were frequently organized in our college. Various knowledgeable seminar and lectures series are organized in our college, where we get valuable guidance from eminent legal personalities. I got the opportunity get valuable knowledge from Hon’ble Justice Smt. Revati Mohite-Dere, Judge Bombay High Court, Hon’ble Justice Shri. Abhay Oka, Judge Bombay High Court, Hon’ble Justice Shri. Prakash Naik, Judge Bombay High Court, Shri. Damodar Mhatre, Retd. District Judge, Shri. Ram Apte, Senior Counsel, High Court, Shri. Sachindra Shetye, Advocate, High Court, etc. I am also grateful to Hon’ble Chairman Shri. Ramsheth Thakur Sir, Hon’ble Prashant Thakur Sir, Hon’ble Y. T. Deshmukh Sir, the entire managing committee of JBSP Sanstha and the entire staff of our college for the efforts taken in the overall development of the students. It was my excellent experience with this college.
