Student Participation in Annual DLLE Festival “UDAAN” 2024

The Annual DLLE Festival “UDAAN” was organised under the aegis of Department of Lifelong Learning and Extension, University of Mumbai by Konkan Gyanpeeth, Uran College of Commerce & Arts & Uran Education Society’s College of Management and Technology at Uran Education Society’s College of Management and Technology, Bori, Uran, Raigad for Navi Mumbai and Raigad region.

There were twenty DLLE registered students of Bhagubai Changu Thakur College of Law, New Panvel who participated in the following Competitions:

  1. Street Play
  2. Poster making Competition
  3. Elocution Competition

We would like to mention delightfully that our College bagged the Consolation Prize amongst 25 participating Colleges from all over Navi Mumbai. The students participating in Street Play titled “एका मताची किंमत were from various batches of 5years BLS/LL.B. and 3 years LL.B. The script was written and directed by Final year LL.B. student, Mr. Sachin Sonavne. He had taken efforts to teach each student with compassion about the intricacies of performing in Street Play. Under his guidance the participants enthusiastically learned their part, memorised their dialogues and sang jingles created for the play. The entire team displayed unity and hard work to accomplish the play in a well-orchestrated manner.

Two of our students from 4th year BLS/LL.B. participated in Poster-making Competition under the theme “Women empowerment”.

One student from Final year LL.B. also participated in Elocution Competition.

The extension work faculties and dignitaries from the Department of Lifelong Learning and Extension, University of Mumbai extended valuable guidance and encouraged the participants to utilise their full potential. The host College, Uran Education Society’s College of Management and Technology, Uran exhibited hospitality to the participating Colleges with an open heart and ensured that all students and faculties taken care of their meals which included breakfast, tea, lunch, and evening tea.

The participation of students generated a sense of enthusiasm among the students to participate in “UDAAN” with an attitude to win by means of more preparation and keenness.
