Prevention of sexual harassment (POSH) Training Session

The Women development cell organized the Posh training on “Prevention of sexual harassment” held on November 24, 2023, at Bhagubai Changu Thakur College of Law , New Panvel provided a valuable opportunity for aspiring lawyers to gain insights into the national laws, workplace policies, and steps individuals can take. The event was organized and conducted seamlessly, adhering to a well-structured program.

Program Highlights:

The event commenced with the rendition of the National Anthem, a patriotic start that set the tone for the seminar. Following the National Anthem, a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony symbolized the dispelling of darkness and the pursuit of knowledge. Portraits of eminent figures i.e. Saraswati Maa, late shri Janardhan bhagt saheb, late Matoshri Bhagubai changu thakur, late shri changu kana thakur saheb were garlanded, showing respect for their contributions to the field of education.

The programme is hosted by Prerana Gaikwad BLS LL. B 4th Year student. Assistant Professor Miss. Bhagyashri Kamble welcomed the guest by providing valuable context about Assistant professor. Mrs. Dhanashree Kadam for her presence at the event . She also extended a warm welcome to all attendees, emphasizing the importance of the event.

Assistant professor. Mrs. Dhanashree Kadam delivered an informative lecture, shedding light on the topic’s related to sexual harassment at workplace . She covered essential topics such as what comes under the sexual harassment and ways to prevent it .

Host expressed gratitude to all participants, emphasizing the significance of their contributions to the event’s success. The event concluded with a spirited rendition of the National Song, fostering a sense of patriotism.
