“Prarambh” Orientation Program for the New Batch at Bhagubai Changu Thakur College of Law, New Panvel

The Cultural Committee of Bhagubai Changu Thakur College of Law, New Panvel with an intention to welcome the new batch of  2023 for BA LLB and LLB and provide them with a brief orientation about the courses they have enrolled into, Janardhan Bhagat Shikshan Prasarak Sanstha and Bhagubai Changu Thakur College of Law organized an orientation program on 07-10-2023. The program was organised by Asst. Prof. Raghav Sharma under the guidance of I/c Principal  Mrs. Sana I Deshmukh Ma’am.

The program started with garlanding the prominent personalities of Shri. Janardhan Bhagat Shikshan Prasarak Sanstha as an expression of gratitude towards them after which the Hon’ble Shri Ramsheth Thakur Sir, Hon’ble Shri YT Deshmukh Sir, Hon’ble Shri Dr. ST Gadade Sir were welcomed with a sapling as a token of gratitude by Mrs. Sanavi Deshmukh Ma’am Asst.

The Program started with a introductory and welcome speech about the program by Mrs. Sanavi Deshmukh Ma’am after which the host for the session Asst. Prof. Aparajita Gupta Ma’am briefed the attendees about The Janardhan Bhagat Shikshan Prasarak Sanstha and The Bhagubai Changu Thakur College of Law. The Hon’ble Secretary of the Sanstha Dr. ST Gadade Sir thereafter was invited to the speak with the new batch where he guided them with his visionary perspective. Hon’ble Chairman Shri Ramsheth Thakur Sir and Hon’ble Vice Chairman YT Deshmukh Sir also interacted with the students and informed them about Late Shri Janardhan Bhagat Saheb and Matoshri Bhagubai Changu Thakur. The introduction to B.A. LL.B., LL.B., LL.M. course thereafter were conducted by Asst. Prof. Dhanashri Kadam Ma’am, Asst. Prof. Ravnish Bector Ma’am and Asst. Prof. Mamta Goswami Ma’am respectively.  The students were also offered a brief introduction by all the faculties in the program which created an interaction friendly atmosphere in the hall. The students were briefed about the code of conduct to be maintained in the campus by Asst. Prof. Raghav Sharma. At the end of the program the guests felicitated the newly appointed members of the Student Council of the College which motivated the new students body.The program concluded with Vote of Thanks and recital “Vande Mataram”. The session was successfully hosted by Asst. Prof. Aparajita Gupta.

The program proved to be a great success and a positive start for the new batch.
