“Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav” Special Event – “Meri Mitti Mera Desh” Campaign and Panchpran Shapath

The “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav” initiative to celebrate India’s rich heritage and unity organized a special event titled “Meri Mitti Mera Desh” campaign, which included the solemn “Panchpran Shapath” pledge-taking ceremony. The event was held on 9th August 2023 at the Seminar Hall. The NSS unit, under the guidance of Dhanashri Kadam, the IC Principal, played a pivotal role in arranging this impactful event.
Event Proceedings:
The program commenced promptly at 09:30 AM, with the Seminar Hall adorned with an aura of patriotism and pride. The participants, including students from BLS LLB, LLB, and LLM courses, gathered with enthusiasm and anticipation. The event was graced by the presence of esteemed faculty members and NSS program officers, Asst. prof. Ravnish Bector, Asst. prof. Himanshu More, Asst. prof. Dr. Mamata Goswami, Asst. prof. Bhagyshri Kamble, Asst. prof. Raghav Sharma, Asst. prof. Aparajita Gupta, Asst. prof. Dr. Kranti Bhovte, Asst. prof. Sagar Deghare, Asst. prof. Anam Mehandikar, Janhavi Bhoir (Librarian) contributing to the solemnity of the occasion.
Oath-Taking Ceremony:
The highlight of the event was the “Panchpran Shapath,” an oath-taking ceremony symbolizing the five principles that sustain our nation. Participants were requested to bring a diya (oil lamp), signifying the light of knowledge that guides us through our journey as responsible citizens. This symbolic act further emphasized our commitment to the well-being and progress of our motherland.
NSS Contribution:
The NSS unit, led by Asst. Prof. Raghav Sharma And Dr. Kranti Bhovte, played a pivotal role in orchestrating this event. Their dedication, coordination, and meticulous planning were evident in the seamless execution of the program. Their tireless efforts contributed significantly to the success of the event, creating an atmosphere of patriotism and unity among the participants.
The “Meri Mitti Mera Desh” campaign and the “Panchpran Shapath” pledge-taking ceremony were a resounding success, with students, faculty, and dignitaries coming together to reaffirm their commitment to the nation. The event left a lasting impression, instilling a sense of responsibility and pride among the participants. It served as a reminder that as citizens, it is our duty to contribute actively to the progress and well-being of our motherland.
