Blood Donation Camp Organized by Bhagubai Changu Thakur College of Law in Collaboration with Kutch Yuvak Sangh

Bhagubai Changu Thakur College of Law, in collaboration with Kutch Yuvak Sangh, successfully organized a Blood Donation Camp on the occasion of World Blood Donor Day. The event, held on June 21, 2023, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, was a resounding success, promoting the importance of blood donation and encouraging active participation from the student community.

Under the able guidance of I/C Principal Dhanashri Yogesh Kadam, the National Service Scheme (NSS) unit of the college took the initiative to organize this noble event. The aim was to raise awareness about the significance of blood donation in saving lives and to instill a sense of social responsibility among the students.

The Blood Donation Camp, held in Room No. 402 of the college premises, witnessed the enthusiastic participation of students, faculty members, and esteemed guests. Prerna Gaikwad, a dedicated student of Bhagubai Changu Thakur College of Law, gracefully hosted the event, creating an atmosphere of encouragement and motivation. Poornima Beble, a student of BLS LL.B., introduced the esteemed guests, adding an element of honor and respect to the occasion.

The presence and support of all professors, including Asst. Prof. Ravnish Bector, Asst. Prof. Dr. Mamta Goswami, Asst. Prof. Bhagyshri Kamble, Asst. Prof. Aparajita Gupta, Asst. Prof. Raghav Sharma, and Asst. Prof. Sagar Devghare, served as a source of inspiration for the students. Their active involvement encouraged the participants to come forward and contribute to the noble cause of saving lives through blood donation.

The Blood Donation Camp witnessed the selfless contributions of 31 students who generously donated their blood. These donations will play a crucial role in saving lives and supporting medical emergencies. The collective action of the participants highlighted the importance of working together for the betterment of society.

 

As the event concluded, Mani Bhushan Tiwari delivered a heartfelt vote of thanks, expressing sincere gratitude to all the participants, volunteers, and organizers for their unwavering support and active involvement. The Blood Donation Camp exemplified Bhagubai Changu Thakur College of Law’s commitment to fostering a sense of social responsibility among students and making a positive impact in the community.

 

This initiative, organized by the NSS unit of Bhagubai Changu Thakur College of Law in collaboration with Kutch Yuvak Sangh, showcased the college’s dedication to promoting selfless service and empathy among its students.
