Bhagubai Changu Thakur College of Law, New Panvel had organized a Special lecture on Right to Information for the students of BLS LL.B., and LL.B on 28/09/2022.
The lecture was attended by 112 students and 5 Faculty members.
The speaker for this Special Lecture was Asst. Prof. Dr. Amitab Gawale. The speaker was heartily welcomed by Dhanashri Yogesh Kadam, I/c. Principal of Bhagubai Changu Thakur College of Law.
In the beginning Asst. Prof. Dr. Amitab Gawale gave the introduction on of Provisions of Right to Information Act 2005. Later he explained Right to information and obligations of public authorities the role of The Central Information Commission and the Powers and functions of the Information Commissions.
