Bhagubai Changu College of Law, New Panvel organized an orientation program for the newly admitted BLS, LL.B. & LL.B. students on 3rd March 2022. This programme was organized on zoom app and it was simultaneously telecasted live on YouTube channel of the BCT College of Law. The programme was aimed at providing an insight to the students, of entire law curriculum.
Hon’ble Adv. Dr. Uday Prakash Warunjikar, Senior Advocate, High Court Bombay, Member, Bar Council of Maharashtra and Goa was the chief guest of the event. The programme started with national anthem and then Dr. Mrs. Shitala S. Gavand, Principal, delivered welcome address and Asst. Prof. Bhagyashree Patil introduced the chief guest.
The Chief Guest Adv. Dr. Uday Warunjikar briefly explained the curriculum of the law course and explained the importance of various law subjects. He narrated importance of confidence in this profession and advised the students to participate in various competitions for shaping up the personality. With his huge personal experience, he gave valuable advices to the students that reading newspaper, watching news on different agencies on same topic is very important to understand how there is changes in presentation of news with change of editor and this skill is important for an advocate. He advice students that hard work is very important for being a successful lawyer. He also satisfied lot of quarries of the students, in question answer session.
Asst. Professor, Ms. Sanghapriya Shere, hosted the programme and student of college Ms. Samruddhi Tiwatane provided technical assistance and the programme was concluded with national song Vande Mataram.
