Bhagubai Changu College of Law, New Panvel organized an orientation programme for the newly admitted BLS, LL.B. & LL.B. students on 15th May 2021. Due to Corona Virus pandemic, this programme was organized on zoom app and it was simultaneously telecasted live on YouTube channel of the BCT College of Law. The programme was aimed at providing an insight to the students, of entire law curriculum.
Hon’ble Adv. Mrs. Anjali Helekar, Vice-President, Advocate’s Association of Western India, Mumbai, President, Adhivakta Parishad, (Mumbai Unit), and Ex. Asst. Govt. Pleader, High Court, Bombay was the chief guest of the event.
The programme started with national anthem and then Dr. Mrs. Shitala S. Gavand, Principal, delivered welcome address and introduced the chief guest.
The Chief Guest Adv. Mrs. Anjali Helekar briefly explained the curriculum of the law course and explained the importance of various law subjects. She narrated importance of confidence in this profession and advised the students to participate in various competitions for shaping up the personality. With lot of examples of her own court cases and personal experience, she gave valuable advices to the students that hard work is the only key to achieve success in this profession. She also satisfied lot of quarries of the students, in question answer session.
Asst. Professor, Ms. Krupa Naik, hosted the programme and Mr. Suyash Bartake (Student of 4th Year B.L.S., LL.B.) proposed vote of thanks and the programme was concluded with national song Vande Mataram.
