P.T. IV (Moot Court-I) AY 2020-21
As a part of Practical Training Examination, the Final Year Students are required to participate in Moot Court exercise. An endeavour is made in Bhagubai Changu Thakur College of Law to ensure that the students get maximum experience to shape up their career and attempt is made to give exactly appellate side experience to the Students. Since due to corona pandemic the students are not allowed to visit the college, the moot court exercise could not have been conducted by physical mode. Therefore, the BCT College of Law conducted it 1st Moot Court exercise through online mode, in the same manner in which the Hon’ble High Court proceeded to hear the matter during lockdown.
The First Moot Court for Final Year Students was conducted through online mode on 13/3/2021. Dr. Mrs. Shitala Gavand, welcomed Adv. Mrs. Ashwini Takalkar, Addl. Public Prosecutor, High Court, Bombay and Adv. Mr. Avinash Fatangare, Advocate High Court, Bombay, who graciously spare their valuable time and acted as the Judges for this moot court and both of them also gave valuable guidance to the students. Asst. Professor Shri. Ninad Shendge and Asst. Professor Ms. Krupa Naik hosted the online platform and ensure smooth entry of respective students for making oral submissions as per the time slots allotted to them. This exercise helped the students to gain valuable practical experience.
