Janardan Bhagat Shikshan Prasarak Sanstha’s Bhagubai Changu Thakur College of Law, New Panvel started its academic year 2020-21 by organising an interactive webinar on “Law and Consumerism and Financial Literacy in Covid-19 Times” on 24/7/2020. Due to on-going pandemic of Corona Virus, the colleges are not allowed to conduct regular lecture and hence the webinar was organised on zoom meeting app.
Dr. Mrs.Shitala Gavand gave welcome address and greeted the Guests and she also welcomed all the students in academic year 2020-21.
Chief Guest of this Webinar was Adv. Santosh Shukla, Joint Secretary, Consumer Guidance Society of India enlightened all students with his in-depth knowledge with respect to Consumer Protection Act and thereafter Mrs. Archana Bhingarde delivered a very informative lecture on the topic ” Financial Literacy in Covid-19 Times “
Asst. Professor, Ms. Shruti Pote hosted the programme and Mr. Suyash Bartake, 4th Yr. B.L.S., LL.B. proposed vote of thanks. At the beginning of the webinar National Anthem was played and the webinar ended with National Song Vande Mataram. All the students were given e-certificate of participation in the webinar.
