2nd Late Shri. Janardan Bhagat Memorial Lecture Series – Lecture-4 by Mrs. Mandakini Chopade, A. P. I., Crime Branch, Navi Mumbai

The fourth lecture in the 2nd Late Shri. Janardan Bhagat Memorial Lecture Series was delivered by Mrs. Mandakini Chopade, Asst. Police Inspector, Crime Branch, Navi Mumbai on 25/02/2020. She was welcomed and felicitated by Shri. Y. T. Deshmukh, Vice Chairman, J.B.S.P. Sanstha, Panvel. Dr. Mrs. Shitala Gavand, Principal felicitated Shri. Y. T. Deshmukh, Vice Chairman, J.B.S.P. Sanstha, Panvel.

Shri. Y. T. Deshmukh, Vice Chairman, J.B.S.P. Sanstha, Panvel congratulated the college for successfully organizing this lecture series and for giving this lecture series the name of Late Shri. Janardan Bhagat. He informed the gathering that Shri. Janardan Bhagat use to act as Judge Mediator in Panch Committee of Village, when the resolution of various disputes in villages use to done by the Panch Mediators. He advice the students to work hard for achiving success.

Mrs. Mandakini Chopade, Asst. Police Inspector, Crime Branch, Navi Mumbai delivered lecture on the topic “Cyber Offences – Detecting the Crime & Care to be taken”. She explained various aspects of cyber offences viz. card cloning, hacking, etc. and with examples she explained how the crime is detected with help of electronic data. She also informed the facts about the crucial ATM Card cloning racket, unearthed by her in Nerul.

Thereafter during question and answer session, Mrs. Mandakini Chopade, Asst. Police Inspector, Crime Branch, Navi Mumbai gave answers to the lot of questions asked by the students

Ms. Saba Khan, 2nd Yr. BLS, LL.B. student hosted the programme. It being last lecture of this lecture series, at the end Dr. Mrs. Shitala S. Gavand, Principal BCT College of Law proposed vote of thanks. In her elaborate vote of thanks, she thanked Shri. Ramsheth Thakur Sir, Chairman, JBSP Sanstha, Shri. Arunsheth Bhagat, President, JBSP Sanstha, Shri. Y. T. Deshmukh Sir, Vice Chairman, JBSP Sanstha, Shri. S. T. Gadade, Secretary, JBSP Sanstha and all the members of the management for their constant support and she also thanked the staff and students of the college with special reference to all the student volunteers for successful execution of this lecture series.
