Students of Bhagubai Changu Thakur College of Law, visited Bombay High Court on 31/1/2020. Dr. Mrs. Shitala Gavand, Principal, BCT Law College had secured necessary permission for the same. Asst. Prof. Priyanka Mhatre, accompanied the students during this visit.  Adv. Shreekant Gavand, Addl. Public Prosecutor, High Court and Mr. Vaibhav Gaikwad, advocate High Court and Visiting Faculty, BCT College of Law, guided the students during this visit.

The Students visited various courts rooms and observed the proceedings conducted in the Court.

The Students then visited High Court Museum and thereafter all the Students were given lunch in High Court Canteen.

Thereafter the Students visited the office of High Court Legal Services Committee and High Court Mediation Centre. Shri. Y. B. Game, Secretary, District Legal Services Authority explained importance of Free Legal Aid and he gave very valuable information in respect of working of High Court Legal Services Committee.

At the end with special permission, the students got opportunity to see the historic Court Room No. 46 (where trial of Lokmanya Tilak was conducted). It was one of the amazing experiences for the Students.
