Late Shri. Janardan A. Bhagat Saheb worked tirelessly for poor and spent his whole life for the development of Panvel area and tried to make available the educational facilities to the students. His dedicated and hardworking life became the source of inspiration to our Hon. Chairman Shri. Ramsheth Thakur Saheb to establish the Sanstha. In order to fulfill his dream the Janardan Bhagat Shikshan Prasarak Sanstha was formed on 1/1/1992 and named as such. Year 2018 was celebrated as Silver Jubilee Year of Sanstha. During 25 years of journey the Sanstha has spread its wing in various fields of education. Today this Sanstha has 18 educational institutes under its wings. In the year 2018 various programmes and competitions were organised by all the educational units of Sanstha and the Silver Jubilee ceremonial function was organised on 13th August 2019.
Hon’ble Prof. Dr. Suhas Pednekar, Vice Chancellor, Mumbai University, Hon’ble Dr. Dhanraj Mane, Director, Higher Education, Maharashtra State, Hon’ble Dr. Naresh Chandra, Former Pro-Vice Chancellor, Mumbai University and Hon’ble MLA, Shri. Prashant Thakur, Chairman, Cidco were the Chief Guests of the event. The function was presided over by Hon’ble Shri. Ramsheth Thakur, Ex.M.P. & Chairman, JBSPS. Lot of dignitaries were also present on the dais as the Guests of Honour. The function was attended by large number of students and well-wishers of the Sanstha. During this function the prizes were given to the winners of various competitions organised during silver jubilee year. Various educational units also presented various cultural events viz. dance, songs, fashion show, etc. At the end dinner was organised by Sanstha for each and every member present for the event.
